So does anyone know anything about this card? How does it compare to the competition, or is it too soon to say? I'm just curious.

It looks pretty damn sweet. Anandtech usually has pretty straight articles:

Basically, it has some new DX9.0c features, it sucks a lot of power, uses two ATX connectors and demands a 480W PSU, but it's hella fast.
