Default Monitor settings...

Ok I know this might sound right funny,, like Im having a huge PEBKAC!!
Towards the center of my montor my desktop curves in, it is happening on both sides, has been this way for awhile.
It has happened on more then one monitor. I have played with the settings on the monitor and I have played a lil with the settings on my ATI panel.
Any ideas¿?

Hm, you mean it curves at the very center of your screen, or along the edges along the center... lol

If they're running at higher than 1024x768 the tubes just might be getting incapable of the stress. You don't have any major sources of electromagnetic interference nearby do you?

No magnetic sources. This happened on the monitor previous and now my new Samsung. It never stopped happening. My screen size is 1280x1024, I guess I could try down sizing it. But I beleave it did it still...

I think Furions go on GMT so the days won't always line up. If it actually goes past 24 hours and you're pretty sure of it lmk; it should recent before too long though.

If it is just along the edges it's a physical limitation of the monitor, you probably have to drop it down in res and tweak the settings some more or get a monitor that can handle the res. Unless you can tweak the settings enough, usually you have settings for pincushion that you can use to get it looking ok. My monitor has gotten to that point too at high res, it's just a $150 19" that's not about 3-4 years old.

I just bought mine at BestBuy granted its a cheaper 19" $200 Samsung. So I guess Im just going to play with the settings some more maybe drop the res to 1024.. See how that works

Samsung isn't half bad but any manu. makes good and bad units. $200 for 19" is budget unfortunately and probably the tubes are just weakening.

But for this to have been going on with 2 seperate monitors in the exact same location leads me to belave something else is up. It seemed to have done better under 1024 reso. I have to f*ck with it some more.
