WANTED: Writers, reviewers, artists and more

Hello fine forum goers,

I want to take a minute to stage a request for content developers for Fury-Tech.com. Time limitations have kept me from enaging in my usual frenzy of tweaking, modding, overclocking and most importantly writing articles about it all! While I have a number of projects brewing in the shadows, I just can't keep fresh content on the site at all times!

With that said, I'm looking for some people to help develop content for Fury-Tech.com. Basically, anything and everything PC related - game reviews, game rants, hardware and software reviews, etc.

Also, if you are more of the artistic type (digital, that is) I could use some help in developing graphics for the site and my CMS. Mostly icons of varying types, I'll give you some more detail if I get a response.

I can't offer much in return, I would love to pay you but I don't make a damned penny of the site or the forums. I am happy to provide linkage on my site to your personal page, and of course you will one day be infamous for being one of the first authors of Fury-Tech.com

Right now the authoring console is still in development, so you won't be able to take advantage of the editor at Fury-Tech.com, but if you forward the article/review to me I will format it properly and post it under your name (i.e. the article will show up in the news as 'Posted by yourname'), and then of course this will be reiterated in the article itself.

Don't be shy! It could be a lot of fun, and although there isn't any money in it, live isn't always about money now is it

That would be cool. I do like writing. I don't have endless amounts of free time either though. Right now I can't think of anything super useful to contribute, but I'm sure that will change in the future. I will definately keep it in mind and be thinking of topics that I can write articles on. I'll keep you posted when I think of something to write about. In the meantime, what are the limitations? Are we just talking about computers?

Well, I certainly understand time constraints, but I'm heartened to hear you will keep this in mind.

As far as the type of content goes, yes, Fury-Tech.com is about computers/technology and I don't intend to confuse that with a plethora of topics. This isn't to say that I will not consider other topics, but don't go writing a 30 page review of Nike's new Hypercolor Sheepskin Socks, because it probably won't get published.

If you have an idea but are unsure about whether it 'fits' or not, don't hesitate to post it here or PM me. I'll consider anything, although generally speaking I will focus on technology related subjects. The word 'technology' encompasses a lot more than just PC's though, so really I cover a very broad range of things - technology is everywhere these days.

I think id like to give it a try as well, I wont have time until the end of April to really give it a go. I've got some 2.5 years of insight into the evil empire that might pull some readers. if not at least stir up some trouble. LOL

I also know someone else (who actually wrote many of my phyc/English papers in school...) who I will talk into participating as well. He has plenty of spare time.... yeah I'm talking about you!!! you might try registering.... :mrgreen:

I plan I writing my own this time though, ok maybe ill pass them by him once before submitting them... :wink2:
