Why use Access? SQL Server 2005 Express is a much better database and it's free. You can also use MySQL databases with .net applications. What is this for?

It's not really my choice
I guess what I really need is the Visual Studio so I can create packages (so that people in our company can still check out our MDB w/o actually owning Access.)

But it looks like Microsoft isn't supporting it or distributing it anymore. And I've been approved for a Access 2007 upgrade. I should be all set once I get that.

You could use Visual Studio Express (free) to create interfaces for the Access DB. I would seriously consider migrating to SQL Server if you have more than a couple people accessing the DB.
