"Tired of waiting for high profile sequels like Half Life 2 and Doom 3? Need something to justify the purchase of that shiny new video card? Well wait no more, German developer Crytek has brought us Far Cry, a next generation title you shouldn't overlook. Easily the best looking game on any platform to date, Far Cry has plenty to offer in terms of graphics and gameplay. This one is easy to recommend."

Yeah it looks awesome, if I didn't just get BF:V I might have grabbed it up. If the pics didn't sell me the awesome review did though, way to go Yay!!

indeed. the review was a pleasure to read. is far cry really a decent multiplayer game? it looks like a much better single player game than multiplayer.

It's fun for sure, but not without its quirks and flaws. The single player game is definetly the main strength. Its way too easy to run over your own teammates with the buggys, and there seems to be no way to turn that off. Also you score points for building walls and bunkers no matter which team you are on or where they are. I was playing a map today where my team was supposed to be on offense, capturing the final objective, and some jackass was going back through the map building useless stuff far away from the battle just to up his score. So I ran him over Anyway, hopefully some of those problems can be patched, and the game is still really fun to play, but if you're specifically looking for a killer multiplayer shooter I'd probably go with Bf vietnam or UT2k4.

Cheapskates! I hate cheaters/general losers when their stupidity takes you down with them.

I ALMOST bought this game over the weekend, but I just couldn't do it after buying BF:V last week. Soon... hopefully..

At least at $40 its not a bank breaker. I hate to think of all the major titles coming out this year, I'm gonna be broke

True, $40 is a decent price for a new game. I'm sure Doom 3 and HL 2 will be uber expensive.

Just finished the single player. boy what a fun one, but the ending was a tad anticlimactic. meh, still a great game.

yeah, if you can get past what they try to pass off as a story, you'll have a good time.
