Chieftec Dragon Mid-Tower Case w/ USB 2.0 & 1394
New review up on Fury-Tech of my new Chieftec, please have a read and let me know what you think!
"Chieftec Industrial Co., Ltd. has really blown up the market with their Dragon series. Chieftec is a full-service vendor, with manufacturing facilities in Kwangtung, China, and Zhejiang, China. They handle every part of the manufacturing process from tooling, to stamping, to shipping. This kind of process is undoubtedly part of their success; when you have full control over the manufacturing process you aren't at the mercy of a third party plant. According to Chieftec their mission is to "Keep doing it better". A simple yet profound goal that I think every company should adhere to."

Thanks sp0om.
I'm trying hard to refine my reviewing methods with each one I do. While I can still see some room for improvement on this review, I do want to maintain a certain level of thoroughness here. I know when I'm looking for a review on X product I want honesty and completenes, so that's what I'm shooting for.
For the record, I'm more than open to constructive criticism, so if you ever see a flaw in any of my articles don't hesitate to give me a hard time about it.

A+ work man. and when reading through your article, i marvel at how sweet your site is. the comment box on the bottom of each page is really nice. there are a lot of small good things on your site that make it a very good site overall. its not at all cluttered which is great. e107 is really limiting my site... did you code fury tech yourself. if so excellent job.
the only thing that i can point out is not right is really small. you have 2 google ads per page, which i believe is a violation of their policy. im not going to tell, and i doubt they care, but thats just something you might want to know.
otherwise, your site is awesome, the reviews are awesome. keep up the good work Tekime

*Yikes* I just pulled the second ad and contacted Google to notify them that I screwed up. Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't even think about the second margin ad.. Doh. Let's hope they are cool about it.
I really do appreciate your positive feedback on the site. The site is entirely custom coded, although it's actually over a year old at this point. I have a very much improved architecture which I will be moving the site over to in the near future. I develop PHP and MySQL professionally and have created an architecture for Managed Information Sharing Technology (aptly called MIST). The Web Management system based on that architecture is "Thundermist", a system I am now distributing to my clients and hope to integrate in Fury-Tech very soon. I'm no guru or anything, and the software has a lot of growing to do, but it should open up some doors for the site. Case galleries, voting, polls, case of the month, stuff like that. I also enjoy the simplicity of the site now, but there are some features it could use a lot. The style will also be changing a bit, but I want to hold the essence of the site as it is.
Anyway I tend to ramble when I get started on PHP. ops:
Thanks again, it's good to know people are putting some use to all of this work!

Awesome review man. The case is a bit dated but it's also the one sitting next to me (only a silver off brand version with the windowed door). I ended up just taking the damn door off because as you said the case sits to my right and the door can get annoying real fast. Your going to love the added space this thing gives you and it may sound dumb but the easy in/out purple fan brackets that this case made popular are a godsend and you'll appreciate more and more if you mess with your case's innards as much as I do.

Oh BTW, do you have a usual time that you put up NewsBits over at DevH or is it just whenever you get a chance? And do you have a specific list of places you look to get the articles from? I just use ViperLair's link page.

Thanks Cyd.
I know the case is ancient, but Fury-Tech doesn't have a review of it yet and it's still uber popular. I LOVE the fan brackets. SO friggin handy.
Regarding DevH news, we have a news account that we get all of our affiliate mail in. I sent the info to you a while back I thought, but I'll send it again.
Beware though, it's 99% SPAM, 1% affiliate mails.
I post whenever I get a chance basically. I think if we're the only ones managing news it shouldn't be a problem to just check up when we can and post if there is no news. If a set schedule will work better for you let me know.

I was just looking at that email and you didn't actually give the squirrel mail info so if you could hook me up that'd be cool. No rush. I like the way your sites lookin' these days BTW.
