Sweet! About the rack anyway. Sorry about the bills :banghead:

Hoping you have a regular ATA drive to use it with. The lights are cool even if it isn't practical, lol...

Don't have an extra drive at the moment, but maybe it's a good time to pick up a Raptor. I've been meaning to get a 2nd external drive for my PC's, and I've got some beige racks like this one I can use in some of my other boxes. Since my main box is black and this won't really go with it, I think what I'll probably do is get another usb2/fw enclosure, (since it'll be aluminum color), stick this in that, and put the beige racks in my older boxes. Then I'll have a backup drive I can use on all of my pcs. COOL!!

Cool. It's too bad that thing doesn't support SATA. Or have USB 2.0. Wish I had a better one for ya. One day... one day... :mrhappy:

Yeah I wouldn't expect it to really. It will definitely serve it's purpose though. Now I can make images of my OLD ass machines that lack USB without having to pull them out from under my desk and take them apart. Just shut em down, pop in the drive, boot up, image, shut down, remove, reboot. I can have a small Linux partition on the drive so I don't have to boot from CD to do the imaging. Then I can slide the drive into my usb2/fw enclosure and I've got an external backup for my newer boxes as well.
