There's a new
over at MADSHRIMPS about this new ArctiClean stuff from Arctic Silver (in cooperation with Nanotherm apparently).
It might seem a little odd to purchase a cleaning agent just for CPUs, but hell, if I added up the hours I've spent trying to clean cruddy CPUs, GPUs, and old thermal pads away....
The one bugger reading this article is that it still emits a citrus odor, and contains citrates in the frist stage. I understand that citrus is not so hot for sensitive electronics... but perhaps the second stage removes it quickly enough. Anyway, pretty neat, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some and testing it out with some really tough goop.
