Are you using the same power supply in both cases then? If not swap your old PSU over too.

If you are well, could be the power switch on the new case is messed up? Try connecting the two pins for the power switch with a butter knife, this should short them and start the PC if the power switch is just messed up. Otherwise maybe a grounding problem? Are all the motherboard risers in place?
